 6.2.4 AISM School Uniform

All students are expected to comply to the following rules according to their class group : 

·         Prep Students

o        Prep students wear AISM school shirt with own choice of shorts, hat, bag, shoes, etc. 

·         Junior Boys ( Kindy to Year 6 )

o        AISM navy shorts with AISM polo top (yellow with navy and ochre trim)

o        Simple plain ankle length white socks (no logos or stripes)

o        Black leather or rubber school shoes or (black or navy) leather sandals (socks are not to be worn with sandals) to be kept in good repair, clean and polished. 

·         Junior Girls ( Kindy to Year 6 )

o        AISM navy culottes (same length as for the shorts) with AISM polo top (yellow with navy and ochre trim)

o        Simple plain ankle length white socks (no logos or stripes)

o        Black leather or leather-look/polishable or rubber school shoes or (black or navy) leather sandals (socks are not to be worn with sandals) to be kept in good repair, clean and polished. 

·         Senior Boys ( Year 7 to Year 12 )

o        AISM long navy trousers with AISM polo top (yellow with navy and ochre trim).  AISM shorts are an option on occasions.

o        Simple plain ankle length white socks (no logos or stripes)

o        Black leather or leather-look/polishable or rubber school shoes to be kept in good repair, clean and polished. 

·         Senior Girls ( Year 7 to Year 12 )

o        AISM navy knee-length skirt with AISM polo top (yellow with navy and ochre trim).  Option on AISM school culottes (divided shirt) on occasions.

o        Simple plain ankle length white socks (no logos or stripes)

o        Black leather or rubber school shoes to be kept in good repair, clean and polished. 

·         Sports and PE Clothing ( all students )

o        The official sports uniform has been designed.  Students have to wear their House Colours T-shirts (which have UV protection) with the official sports shorts.

o        For official school competitions competitors must wear an AISM polo top (yellow with navy and ochre trim) with plain blue sports shorts or sport specific uniform.

o        Sport shoes should be as plain as possible.

o        Simple plain ankle length white socks with no logos or trim of any kind.

o        Swimming costumes for competitions (at this stage) are to be plain navy blue  - one piece for girls and plain navy blue racing briefs style for boys.

o        Students may wear any colour and style of swimming costume that is suitable for PE lessons and training until an AISM design becomes available (consult your PE teacher if unsure).

o        Students from year 3 – 12 must change their school shirt at lunchtime if they are playing on the field or in the gym.  This does not have to be the PE shirt but one that is appropriate, e.g. no singlets or sleeveless tops. 

·         Miscellaneous

o        Sports caps and hats are required for outdoor activities and excursions.

o        Navy blue school bags are to be used. 

·         Note

o        Leather or leather-look/polishable shoes or rubber shoes are available in local supermarkets.

o       If parents are relocating to Malaysia, it may be easier to buy before you come.
