AISM took a group of 170 students from Year 6-12 to the Panggung Bandaraya Theatre to see Malaysia's longest running musical - 'MUD - The Story of Kuala Lumpur'. The students - from Drama, Malaysian Studies, English, EAL and Literacy Support - witnessed an outstanding performance about the birth of Kuala Lumpur from a small village on muddy banks of the Klang River, to the great modern city it is today. The show was full of catchy songs and well-choreographed dances, and included many references to Malaysian cultural classics, such as the famous Teh Tarik! The show was a great experience for the students who were thoroughly engaged in the performance, participating on stage and dancing along to the final number.
