TESTIMONIALS & ENDORSEMENTS

Some personal experiences from Australian International School Malaysia alumni and parents.

“There are so many opportunities that arise at school while working with our family and friends. There are academic opportunities to go to international competitions, sporting opportunities to play games on the weekends or interstate, leadership opportunities in the school. The Australian curriculum encourages students to develop a number of skills, including oral, presentation and comprehensive reporting and writing skills across a range of subjects which are very valuable in life. The NSW system and AISM, has indeed broadened my cultural understanding and helped me prepare for university" - Grace Castle-Burns, School Captain 2010 and HSC Graduate

“AISM has a large emphasis on body and mind development, which has helped shape me into the person I am now. We were taught to think on our feet and to have a heightened awareness of everything that was going on in this world. Sports also played a big part of my school life. Classes were always fun and engaging. It took a bit of getting used to at first, but I learnt to work independently after a while. The teachers were attentive and the small-sized classes meant we got their undivided attention” - Caryn Tay, 2009 Graduate who won a scholarship from University of Melbourne to study Biomedicine.

"After careful consideration we moved our family from the United Kingdom to Malaysia back in 2002. Gabriel was 5 years old at the time, Macauley was 3. On arriving at AISM for a look around, Gabriel's reaction was completely different to his previous behaviour visiting other schools; he came out from behind my skirt and went to explore! It was lovely to see him completely comfortable and relaxed in the AISM school environment. His instinctive behaviour was all I needed to see to make my decision. Today Gabriel & Macauley are doing great and they both love their school. From a parent’s perspective, I couldn't want anything more." - Victoria Robertson, President of Parent Association, 2010

“One of the most exciting things about the school is that the students have friends from so many different nationalities and they get to enjoy each other’s culture. My kids look forward to school every morning. The style of learning emphasizes fun learning and exploration, being independent and learning to think and create. As a parent there is great opportunity for involvement at different levels of the school, and a good communication system in place for parents to provide feedback.” - Mariani Ahmad, Parent
