The Infant Carnival was
supposed to be held
on Tuesday 20th June,
but the rainman came.
Thankfully, he stayed away on
Thursday!

On
Thursday the Infants
kids did their sports
carnival and we had lots
of fun. Thorpe won the
Infants Carnival. Thorpe
was so happy. I was
happy too because I'm in
Thorpe. Everyone in
Infants got an ice-cream
for doing a good job.
Sauvage came Second,
Rafter came Third and
Freeman came Fourth.

After arriving at
school, we all went on a
scenic drive in the
school buses to one of
the local Universities -
UNITEN, ready to start
with the longest event,
the 1500m. First points
of the day went to
Freeman House, thanks to
the efforts of Mazin who
fought off a strong
challenge by his Rafter
rival.
The Field events went on
during the day, with
participants taking
breaks for their track
events. Many of the
Junior field events were
held in school in the
week prior to Friday.
