INFANT PRODUCTION 2006

Tell Me a Story

Before TVs, Playstations, DVDs, iPods and computers, families used to love sitting around talking and telling each other stories.  Join the infant children in a production that takes us back to these times as they share with you some of their favourite stories….

Congratulations to all the people in the Infant School - Teachers, students and helpers in another great performance on 9th June. To order a copy of the DVD, Click here

Prep - There Was an Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe ...

Watch the prep children tell you about the little old lady who lived in a shoe.  She had so many children she didn’t know what to do!  The prep children also performed Bangun Pagi – a song about getting ready for school.

KW – The Tiny Seed

Tiny Seeds are blown up in the air and fly far, far away.  Many do not survive their journey but one tiny seed, despite all the odds, grows up to become a beautiful flower.

KG – The Enormous Watermelon .....

In a village lived an old man who planted a water melon seed.  This seed grows up to be the most enormous watermelon you have ever seen!  The old man seeks help from all the people (and animals) in the village to help him pull it out of the ground.

1W – What a Wonderful World ....

Two adults look back to their childhood and tell you about the day that their beautiful park was taken over by builders.  The builders wanted to build a shopping mall but this would mean no more dancing flowers…
Written and directed by Miss Michelle Williams

1G - The Pied Piper .....

This is a traditional tale, known by many, of the village overrun by rats and the villagers’ efforts to rid the town of these pesky vermin.  Look out for the great dance at the end.

Adapted and directed by Miss Sarah Leedham

2W – The Tiger and the Shrew ...

This is an innovation of an Aesop fable where Tiger, king of the rainforest, is caught in a net.  Who will get him out?  The elephants?  The orangutans?  Or the tiny little shrew?

Written and directed by Mrs Louise McLean
