The God of Prosperity welcomed students, staff and parents to the Chinese New Year, before they were treated to a colourful display of culture - the story of the animals in the Chinese Zodiac, a fan dance by students and our own mini lion dance, before the 'professionals' from a local Chinese school took to the stage.

As in previous years, and according to Chinese custom, the lions paid a visit to the school office after completing the dance in the Auditorium. Accompanied by loud beating of the drums, they moved around the office starting from the Principal's room, bringing (we hope) lots of good things to AISM for the year of the Rat.
