We got off to a great start even before school officially opened....
 

The ISAKL swimming Meet on 21st January. Luckily we had enough of our swimmers around to make at least a small splash!
 


On the first day of school, we welcomed more than 100 new students - opening with over 400 students, not to mention all the new teachers.

...and who could complain when we then had a very long weekend for Chinese New Year and Awal Muharrum holidays?

DEEPARAYA ASSEMBLY

As Deepavali and Hari Raya feel within a couple of days of each other at the beginning of November, we held a combined 'Deeparaya' assembly on 18th November.

some inspired performances by our talented students.
CHRISTMAS ASSEMBLY
The Christmas assembly was held on the last Monday of Term, organised by the students themselves.

Santa didn't stay long (claimed the heat was bothering him). See what he had to say in the clip here...

The biggest surprise - the band! with two students who had joined AISM only in the past couple of weeks, we were treated to a truly inspired performance of "Jingle Bells" in both English and Korean.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but we had to do it. Our Year 6's move up to Secondary, Year 10's to their HSC years, and our Year 12's are now out in the world and off to Uni.

Lockdown! - The evacuation drill this term was a lockdown procedure. AISM students are getting used to the creative scenarios dreamed up by the Health and Safety Committee!
Hip Hop, Rock and Jazz livened up lunchtimes the last two weeks of Term.

Songs under the Stars - the annual AISM multi-cultural version of Carols by Candlelight.
