ANTI-BULLYING/POSITIVE
RELATIONSHIPS DAY |
|
 |
On Wednesday 7th September Year
5,6,7,and 8 participated in a
very active and challenging day.
This was the first time such a
day has been organized at AISM
and all the students enjoyed a
sense of achievement. They
participated in a variety of
workshops, building trust,
making resilience bracelets,
keeping calm and learning how to
resolve conflict. After a very
cooperative team lunch every
student climbed the AISM hill
where we raised our school flag.
The day was closed with all
students receiving an award for
being fabulous team players!

bullying when you could just
have more friends -100 friends
is too few but one enemy is too
many”
Hazim Yr 8 |
“ I think the day helped us all
to think more about how we can
make other people feel better
about themselves. The day also
taught me to mix with other

A Visitor in school
|
On Tuesday 9th August, we had a special
visitor to the windowsill
outside the gym – a beautiful
owl! The Preparation children
took the opportunity to learn
about owls, with Miss Odette’s
help of course, and produced
some lovely drawings. You can
see more, and read what they
thought, in the AISM Yearbook
2005!
Tamika – There were spots and
stripes on it.
Elkie – It had a mask on it’s
head.
Kiane – It goes to sleep in the
daytime. |
