CAMPS 2006

This year, due to the large increase in student numbers, we've had to separate our Camp dates.  The themes continue to be activity based, with the activities varying depending on the age of the students.

To view the video clips on this page, you will need ActivX installed.

The Primary students  went off in the first week of May while the older students had their mid year examinations. They'll all be off enjoying their new experiences for a whole week in August while the Primary students get to work on their annual Production.

Year 3 & 4 students

On the school camp held on the 10th and 11th May years 4 and 3 went to The Eagle Ranch Resort at Port Dickson. We were looking forward to two days of archery, go-karting, swimming and canoeing, just to name a few of the activities ahead.

Enjoy reading the following accounts of the Camp by Naufal...

First we had to unpack our luggage once we got off the bus. Next we had lunch and went to archery, while year 3 did go karting first. When we did archery it was really hard  because the string you had to pull was made out of metal.

It was past 1 hour so we had to swap activities and so to go-karting. The go-kart was really fast and I was dizzy when I went off.

The next activity we did was the obstacle course, which was challenging. It was followed by afternoon tea. When we finished afternoon tea we did canoeing, which was really cool. Some of us didn’t know ho to paddle 1the canoe and was lost. After this sweaty activity we had swimming, which was refreshing.

Following swimming we changed our clothes and had dinner. The final activity for the day was the night walk. It was thrilling. When we reached back to our dormitory we had a shower and snored away on our bunks.

The camp was fun because it had a lot of activities that I liked. I liked the go-karting the best because it was fast. My second favourite was kayaking because you got to get wet and to control your own kayak. My third favourite activity was horse riding because it was fun and we got to pat the horse. I think the jungle walk was also one of my favourite things because we saw fireflies.
