On the 17th June,
primary and secondary
student had their annual
Athletics Carnival at the
Maybank Stadium. Everybody
did a great job as there
were many events. It started
at 9am and finished at 2pm.
It was a hot day and
everyone tired their best.
The SRC sold refreshments
and hotdogs, chips and
muffins. A lot of
co-operation and enthusiasm
was put into the day. -

Just wanted to say
‘CONGRATULATIONS!’ to the
whole of Rafter for winning
the athletics carnival house
cup! Well done to all the
students who came 1st, 2nd
and/or 3rd in their
individual events. For the
students who didn’t come in
the top 3 position, your
efforts have also assisted
in winning the cup.
For the students who could
not participate, we heard
your (war) cry. And opps!…
sorry for pushing you all so
hard on the day, but,
because of all your efforts,
we have prevailed! You all
competed like champions, and
won like champions! Although
some of us are not the top
runners, we worked so well
as a team, and I hope we
will do just as well in the
coming swimming carnival. On
behalf of the junior and
senior school captains, I
can proudly say ‘Well
done!’, we are so proud of
you!
