Ms Tania Henry, School Counsellor

Masters in Clinical Psychology, Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours in Psychology), Member of the Australian Psychological Society

Tania completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland in 2013 and is a registered psychologist. Prior to working as a school counsellor in a Catholic secondary school in Brisbane for the past four years, Tania worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital. She is passionate about working with young people in a school setting and helping students understand the benefits of maintaining a balanced routine, a healthy lifestyle and engaging in values driven action to improve their mental health. Tania loves travel, learning about different cultures, being outdoors, cooking, yoga, netball and spending time with friends and family.

Mr Chris Broadbent, Careers and Pathways Advisor

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (Dunelm), Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) (Durham), Cambridge English Language Teaching Accreditation (CELTA)

Chris Broadbent has 8 years' teaching experience, five years of which has been at AISM. He is Model United Nations Director at AISM and is responsible for Careers and Higher Education.

Ms Denise Miller, Library Services Coordinator

Cert. IV in Library/Information Services, Cert. Teach. (Primary), Cert in TESOL, Certificate of Yoga

Denise has 40 years of teaching across Australia, UK, Greece, India and Malaysia. She has had extensive experience in libraries in Australia and overseas. Her interests are world culture, yoga, meditation and reading.

Ms Denise McFarlane, School Nurse

Senior Enrolled Nurse (General Trained); FA-CPR-AED Instructor (ARC) (Singapore)

Denise trained as a General Nurse in Dundee (Ninewells) Scotland and is a certified American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Instructor. She loves Scottish dancing, gardening, Muay Thai boxing and the Malay Silat.

Ms Alice Law Geok Bee, School Nurse

Diploma in Nursing, Critical Care trained with certified Basic Life Support

Alice has 6 years of work experience with the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She loves children and animals. She also enjoys reading fiction, baking pastry, making art and craft, photography and swimming.
