Regional Sport

AISM is part of the Australian International Schools Association (AISA), which was formed in 2012 among other Australian International Schools in the region. Currently, members of AISA include AIS Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Bali, Malaysia, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates.

Member schools promote collaboration and interaction between teachers and students through yearly sport competitions, professional development activities, performing arts activities, recruitment and in jointly promoting the advantages of an Australian education in the Asian/Middle East region.

The inaugural AISA Games were held in Singapore in June 2012 with basketball, football (soccer) and swimming events. The association has now established a strong calendar of events for students 16 years of age and younger in the sports of basketball, football (soccer), touch football, netball and swimming. These sports are open to girls and boys. This is an annual event where each Australian school travels overseas to take part in this exciting tournament. Many life-long friends are made here.

AISM always performs extremely well in these games and consistently feature on the winning podium.

At AISM, we have a strong contingent of athletes who have a passion for triathlons and duathlons. Many of our families regularly travel to other countries and Cities, such as Port Dickson to participate in triathlons and duathlons.
