more will happen there

Watch this space - the
new admissions office
will swing into action
in early March.
The new surau for Muslim
students and staff.
HSC Art & DT students
present their Major
works
- 29th
August 2006
After the last minute
attention to those last
important details, our
Senior students
presented their efforts
at a small gathering on
Tuesday evening 29th
August. Each artist
presented his or her
work, and could feel
justifiable proud at the
end of the formal part
of the evening.
The World Cup comes to
AISM - 2006
Six of our brave Soccer
fans submitted
themselves to a grueling
question time by a
reporter from local
daily The Star, telling
her about their
favourite teams.
Yul (from
Germany) The interview
itself was quite tricky
with very simply but
hard to answer questions
such as, Why do you
support so and so. It
was fun though. It was
great to see everyone
in their jerseys. GO
GERMANY!
Alex (from
England) The interviewer
was a Star Education
reporter and she
interrogated us!
Kelly
(from Holland)
It was really fun and
interesting. If I could
do it again about
something else, I would
love to.
Nada (from
Japan) I thought it was
a really good
experience.
I enjoyed talking to the
reporter & taking
photos.
On the 28th March 2006,
AISM formally joined the
Taylor's Education Group
long respected in
Malaysia as a provider
of quality Education in
the Post Secondary,
International, and local
Private education
fields.
Mrs Armstrong welcomed
our guests as they
enjoyed a real Aussie
morning tea with
Lamingtons, Anzac
biscuits, Pies, Pumpkin
scones
and mini Apple Crumbles.
The Choir (712kb)
Entertainment was
provided by our students
- a vocal quartet,
violin trio, an
individual performance,
and rounded off by the
choir singing 'We are
the World'.
(459kb)
Student 'tour guides'
proudly showed off their
domain to the visitors
before joining them for
a second session of food
and entertainment.
Everyone else was not
forgotten. We had a
didgeridoo player and
lamingtons for all.....
and the verdict? ....
you decide what their
faces say.....
In conjunction with the
festivals celebrated in
Malaysia, we at AISM enjoy the
cultural and party aspects to the
full through our special assemblies
organised for the occasions.
