Dedication to a culture excellence is one of the Australian International School Malaysia’s core values.
Our accreditations from regional and international organisations means we are being assessed on a regular basis on our educational performance, and that the education we are providing meets the needs of our students, and is rigorous, meeting international standards.
NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
AISM is registered and accredited to deliver the Australian, New South Wales (NSW) curriculum with the Board of Studies, Teaching & Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES).
The BOSTES NSW was created by the NSW Government to sustain and improve the already high standards of achievement in NSW schools.
Council of International Schools
Our Council of International Schools (CIS) accreditation, gained in 2013, demonstrates our commitment to high quality international education.
AISM is one of only 340 accredited member schools, out of 660 CIS member schools internationally.
We achieved accreditation through the demanding six day review process by the CIS team. The accreditation shows the school has achieved high standards of professional performance in international education and is committed to continuous improvement.
The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a global non profit organisation and the pre eminent international school accreditation body.
Ministry of Education 5 Star Award
In 2012, AISM was awarded the prestigious 5 Star Quality Standards Award for Private Education Institutions by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. This award was given to only 15 of the 63 international and independent schools in the state of Selangor. This reaffirms AISM’s place as one of the top international schools in Selangor and Malaysia.
The award is based on school performance, including the assessment of 15 criteria such as curriculum, teaching and learning, teacher development, health services and discipline.
