Asia-Pacific Forum for Talented Science Students

For the second year in succession, AISM has been invited by the National Association for Gifted Children to nominate some of our talented science students for selection in the 2017 forum held in Taiwan in July. This event is being sponsored and hosted by the National Taiwan University in collaboration with the Ministry of Education .

The theme this year is “Imagination and Future Scientists”, which will allow students to work collaboratively and apply their knowledge and understanding of science in solving complex world problems.

On Thursday 4 May, nine students from Years 8 to 10 travelled to the Management and Science University to participate in a round of selection interviews and presentations. These students are to be congratulated not only on their nomination but their excellent approach to the interviews and presentations.

We look forward to hearing whether we were successful in a team being selected to represent Malaysia at the forum.
