“What has happened to our classroom?”
Ever said in shock as our Foundation learners were presented with a catastrophic sight.
|“My bag is on the floor!”||“The table is upside down.’’||“Look there are footprints!”|
As our learners processed what had happened to our classroom they noticed key pieces of evidence. We followed the muddy footprints trailing towards the ELC and what did we find?
|"It's a wolf I think," Ellie said excitedly.||"Wolves don't lay eggs," Levi responded.||"That's because it's a dinosaur!" Declan shouted.|
It was our job to investigate and inform Mr King of what had happened.
As we recounted and documented our discovery our Foundation learners were learning how to take their ideas and communicate these through their writing.
Take a look at their wonderful work!
From summer to winter, rain and shine our Foundation meteorologists are investigating weather in the world around them. They have learned how to identify weather and seasonal changes around the globe, explore different types of weather, and express their creativity by displaying different characteristics of each season. Throughout our inquiry learners are developing the skills to observe, ask questions, express their ideas and demonstrate their understanding.
