About the speaker
Born in the UK Joyce has spent the last 25 years travelling with her husband and 4 children. She has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and now resides in KL. During her travels she has come to realise we are not so different in our dreams, hopes and aspirations, especially for our children.
It was whilst living in Canada 10 years ago, that she certified as a Sexual Health Educator enabling her to work in Universities, Community Colleges and even a prison! In KL she has worked with NGO's, was a consultant for the UNHCR for 2 years, developed and delivered age-appropriate programs in various International schools, and continues to run private parent sessions.
Please join her to hear why it should be important to you, as a parent or guardian to increase your knowledge and confidence in this sometimes uncomfortable/embarrassing area.
