Michelle Chaplin, Head of Junior School
In the Junior School it has been an amazing start to the term - whilst we adjust, adapt and continuously reflect on best practice under the SOP’s we also remember that students come to school to interact, socialise with their peers and have fun whilst learning. As always AISM is committed to educating the whole person to be a global citizen and therefore for our students to understand the SOP’s in the context of their lives.
Year 5 have explored the differences in the playground and come up with some great ideas to share across the school - well done Year 5 - our Junior School Leaders in action!
We are proud to announce our Junior School Thorpe House Captain for Semester 2, Perikles Koumouris. Today the Thorpe students heard speeches from 5 students and voted in Perikles - a tough decision. Congratulations to all students who applied for the position - they did an excellent job. Perikles will join Chloe Tai in leading Thorpe for Semester 2.
