Adding the effect of movement to you image can add dynamism and interest to the photographs you take. Three types of movement related photographs are freeze frame, panning and long exposures. These techniques can be used with point and shoot cameras as well as DSLRs.

Freeze frame refers to photographs where the action is frozen. This can be used to show complex movement in parts and split second snapshots. This technique requires good light and a fast shutter speed.
