Academic achievement

Outstanding academic and internationally benchmarked test results from 2015 AISM students.

HSC and ATAR Results:

Once again, AISM Year 12 students were recognised in Australia for their outstanding academic achievement in their HSC studies which resulted in over one in six students achieving an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) greater than 90 points and almost one in four achieving an ATA greater than 80 points out of a maximum of 99.9 points.

We congratulate the following 2015 AISM Year 12 students for being recorded on the 2015 BOSTES NSW Distinguished Achievers List for scoring a Band 6 or equivalent which is a score greater than 90 points out of 100 for a subject.

International Schools’ Assessment (ISA) Results, assessing against International standards

All students in Years 3 to 10 complete the annual International Schools’ Assessment tests. These assessments are set and marked externally by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). More than 73,000 students in over 340 schools around the world complete the assessments; please click the following link to see the full list of schools:

AISM uses the ISA data collected each year to monitor individual student and cohort data so that we can adjust our teaching to address any identified areas of need in terms of developing transdisciplinary skills.  In comparing successive years we are very excited to report that our students have improved in almost all areas, across all year levels, in addition to scoring results that place them well ahead of their international peers.

Please see below the table outlining our outstanding results.
