His experience in Australia includes teaching students from 5-12 years of age as a classroom teacher and an IT specialist, and running a Junior School boarding house for eight to eleven year old boys. His leadership experience includes Deputy Head and Curriculum Coordinator at Newington College, Lindfield, and Head of Primary at Bishop Druitt College, Coffs Harbour, the largest independent school in regional NSW.


Graeme loves all sports, but particularly enjoys football, golf, and running. He has a strong interest in pastoral care and believes respect, manners and giving of your best at all times is non negotiable.

Leigh has been teaching for 13 years and has a passion for teaching all levels of the Junior School, drawing upon a strong information and communication technologies (ICT) teaching knowledge. Challenges excite her, particularly working with students for whom English is an additional language (EAL) and those with special needs. Leigh is married and has two young children. Kris has a wealth of teaching experience, both in Australia and abroad, having developed his teaching style over the past 16 years. This includes teaching in the western suburbs of Melbourne, leafy suburbs of Bradford (UK) for 8 years, a year in multicultural Preston and culminating with 5 years in the beachside town of Mount Martha, Victoria.


Kris aims to create a classroom environment that stimulates and challenges students to reach their full potential both academically and emotionally. Prior to joining AISM, Dale was Head of Junior Sport, Health & Physical Education for 18 years at Ipswich Girls' Grammar school in Queensland. She has also worked in the public and private education sectors in Brisbane, throughout London and completed a volunteer teaching placement in Peru. Alongside her teaching, Dale has worked in high performance sport with roles at the Queensland Academy of Sport and Brisbane Roar FC in athlete welfare and development.


Dale's personal teaching philosophy is 'Non Scholae Sed Vitae Discimus' - we learn not for school but for life, and she firmly believes in assisting students to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Yen Wey is passionate about working with young children. With more than 15 years experience in early years settings in both teaching and management roles, she believes that an educator has an enormous impact on developing the whole child. Bianca graduated with a Bachelor in Education (Language and Literature) in 2012 from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak. She worked as a substitute teacher in a local government school before starting as an Assistant Teacher at AISM in 2013. In 2014 Bianca was appointed to the position of classroom teacher where her passion and interest in the Reggio Emilia approach and programs of inquiry began. She is passionate about this philosophy of learning and uses the principles of Reggio to ensure her learning environment is meaningful and enjoyable. Bianca enjoys travelling and entertainment. She believes joy and laughter are vital for children to learn successfully.


Mr Jeremy Cox

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Jeremy has spent just over a decade living overseas. Prior to moving to Malaysia, he lived in the United Kingdom working as an EAL teacher. He completed his Bachelor of Education with Curtin University, where he was inducted onto the Vice-Chancellor’s List—a lifetime award for achieving results in the top 1% across the university.


At the core of Jeremy’s teaching philosophy is the belief that true learning stems from curiosity, and that piquing children’s interest in the world around them, while helping them develop the skills of inquiry and critical thinking, is a fundamental role of education. His primary goal as an educator is to foster a learning environment in which students feel valued and supported and that guides them to become self-regulated lifelong learners.


Two of Jeremy’s main passions are playing the guitar and watching AFL football. He also loves Malaysian food and travelling to all of the wonderful places Southeast Asia has to offer.

Tracie started her career over ten years ago as a middle school teacher of English in the east of England. She later made the transition to teaching in primary schools, with the majority of her experience being with Year 5. In 2013, she moved to Bali to teach English as a Second Language and after two and a half years, moved to Singapore where she taught English enrichment classes for a further two years. Tracie believes in the importance of building confidence in her students and engaging them through a creative curriculum. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and snorkeling.
