Our school library is a vibrant modern space for students to develop a love for reading and conducting research.
We have a teacher librarian who manages the library administrative issues and organises thematic events such as Book Week. They also assist in inviting authors, poets, storytellers, illustrators and other renowned figures to conduct exciting workshops and engage with our students. All of these events are held from time to time at our mini amphitheatre.
LIBRARY OPENING HOURS
Our library operates from 8.15am to 4.30pm during term time. Students are free to visit before and after school (up to 4.30 pm), as well as during their break times. There are also regularly scheduled classes held in the library during school hours.
Junior Reading Area and Amphitheatre
With a warm and friendly environment, these spaces create an inviting area for our younger students to enjoy reading at their own pace, and be entertained by storytelling sessions held here.
We provide the tools necessary for 21st Century learning. Our students are able to research and work on computers in the designated area within the library.
Power Learning Area
For collaborative learning, we have an area that has access to LCD screens and multimedia equipments.
Senior Study Area
This area is equipped with a projector screen which can be used by our older students for individual or group study.
We celebrate our talent by displaying students’ work at our gallery. It also serves as an area for recreational games, homework and reading.
Our conducive discussion rooms are designed to facilitate talks, workshops and classroom discussions.
