Higher School Certificate (HSC) 2018 Results

From a cohort of 37, thirteen students were rewarded with Distinguished Achievements (Band 6 results). This represents almost 30%, an improvement from last year’s 20%.

A pleasing aspect to these results is that they were achieved across the range of curriculum areas - Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences/ Sciences/ Foreign Languages, Music, Mathematics, English Extension subjects.

The following 13 students were recorded on the 2018 HSC Distinguished Achievers List under the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA), including one student of whom obtained an All-Rounder Achievement. (Students who achieved a result in the highest band (Band 6 or Band E4) in 10 or more units of courses.

The Distinguished Achievers List contains names of students who achieved a mark of 90 or above in specific subjects.

What is also impressive about this is that our students' results have collectively placed AISM in the 102nd rank among all schools in, and outside New South Wales.
